Welcoming Our Soldiers

Office Interiors president, Bill Coons, once again participated in the United Service Organization (USO) welcoming team at the Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport to greet and send off soldiers that are returning from duty or leaving for duty.

The team gets together once a quarter with others from the real estate community and alike companies to direct members of our armed forces through the airport and feed them in the USO office at the airport. Furman Wood, who organized the event, asked Bill and others to support the troops by giving money and or time.

When asked why he does it Bill’s response was "at first I did it for Furman, but now, after visiting with the soldiers, it is the least I can do when you really think about what they do for us and our country".
